Rainbow Rose

Wow, we haven’t posted since October, so sorry for the long absence! Well we’re back and it’s Wedding Wednesday. This this week we’re all colorful!

Here at Steins we believe that love does not know gender, love simply is and we are proud to support the LGBTQ community. This week’s wedding was a beautiful expression of love between two women who are proud and excited to share their lives together as a married couple. The colors of the rainbow reflect the diversity of the LGBTQ community and our beautiful couple chose to use rainbow roses throughout their big day in celebration of their love.

Everything for this wedding was designed in beautiful rainbow roses. Rainbow roses are created by cross cutting the stems of a white rose and placing each section into a different colored dye solution. The rose drinks the dye and transforms into the amazing colors that make us this unique bloom.

Rainbow Rose Wedding Bouquet

This cascading bouquet was designed with more than three dozen rainbow roses with touches of eucalyptus and peacock feathers.

The rainbow theme was carried throughout the day with a pair of matching altar containers for the ceremony and centerpieces for the reception.

Spider Bouquet

It’s Wedding Wednesday on Halloween week!

This week’s bridal bouquet has a creepy-crawly Halloween appeal while remaining wedding elegant. A dozen red roses are gathered tightly and surrounded by a collar of sparkly black mesh. A delicate web of gold bullion wire is spun over the roses that a silver spider calls home.

Almost Autumn

Now that it’s September and school is back in session, everyone seems to be thinking autumn, and we’re not complaining. This summer has been so hot, we’re ready to welcome the cooler weather, changing leaves and pumpkin spice. So this Wedding Wednesday we have a bouquet that has a hint of autumn hues, while still being summery bright in these last few weeks of the season.

This wedding bouquet is a gathering of cheerful orange Asiatic lilies, orange gerbera daisies, yellow button mums, purple statice, red roses, solidego and touches of light lavender daisies. The warm hues make us long for fall, but the purple and lavender keep it summery fresh!

Simple and Sweet

We can’t believe it’s Wedding Wednesday again already! It totally snuck up on us this week.

This week’s bridal bouquet is a sweet clutch of pale pink roses and white lisianthus. The simplicity of just the two flower types adds to the elegance and softness of this lovely bouquet.

Traditional White

It’s Wedding Wednesday and this week we have a beautiful and traditional cascading bridal bouquet.

While anything goes as far as wedding colors these days, the color white has been the wedding standard since the late eighteenth century. White not only symbolizes purity and virginity, but it is thought to ward evil spirits.

This bouquet pays homage to tradition beautifully. It was designed in white roses, lilies and stock with little touches of sparkling rhinestones. It is overflowing with elegance.

Steel Grass

It’s Wedding Wednesday and this week we got in some lovely braided steel grass that we couldn’t resist playing with.

 

We were feeling a bit bohemian and transformed the steel grass into a hairband with an accent of pretty gladiola blooms.

We used more steel grass and arranged loops of it atop a clutch bouquet of lavender, light and dark pink roses and surrounded it with a messy collar of ruscus.
